Legacy Tree Project

Legacy Trees, such as many oaks and maples, can live 100 years or more. TreesGreenville is planting for the future by planting the right tree in the right place.

Through our Play in the Shade plantings we create shade in outdoor learning and play areas at parks and schools throughout Greenville County.

Through the Legacy Tree Project we also teach the public about the benefits of trees and proper urban tree care. The Urban Tree Care Initiative supports the Legacy Tree Project and is designed specifically for industry professionals to teach proper tree planting, care, and maintenance.

If you are interested in working with TreesGreenville to plant trees at your school or business, please download and complete our 2011-2012 Request for Support Form.
